Don't miss the latest in ESD/EOS technology for Controlling ESD in Your Workplace!

ESCS recommends the 35th Annual EOS/ESD Symposium & Exhibits September 8-13, 2013 Rio All Suites, Las Vegas, NV, USA

This "Quality Lessons Learned" is your gateway to learning about the latest technical innovations in the area of ESD.  The Technical Program includes outstanding papers, including invited exchange papers, covering hot topics in the categories of Advanced CMOS, Case Studies, High Voltage and RF ESD challenges, Device Physics and Modeling, ESD EDA tools, Factory and Materials, System Level ESD and ESD testing.

Technical Sessions include Two "Year in Review" presentations that you will not want to miss!
Year in Review - EOS/Case Studies Wednesday September 11th, 8:00 a.m. - 8:40 a.m. Terry Welsher; Dangelmayer Associates L.L.C.

The class of device failures typically called Electrical Overstress (EOS) has been getting increased attention in the last two years. Historically, the effects of Electro Static Discharge (ESD) on integrated circuits, particularly handling in the factory, have received much attention in technical literature, standards bodies and educational workshops and tutorials. This has been a largely successful endeavor by the industry. As a result, in many companies EOS has become the next layer of the onion to pursue. In this talk we will review recent work in analysis of and protection from EOS failures and efforts by industry organizations to make progress on best practices and data analysis.

ESD Design/Factory Wednesday September 11th, 1:30 p.m. - 2:10 p.m. Charvaka Duvvury, TI Fellow Emeritus

The ESD technology is steadily in a state of increased knowledge as much more advanced work is carried out both in the industry investigations for new applications and in the universities with higher level of graduate research. These developments during the last year have been focused on device design, new testing techniques, and factory control. The new attention to system level ESD design through simulation techniques has also received the much needed focus. This presentation will highlight the key papers in these areas to give the attendee a succinct overview of ESD technology progress during the year 2012.
Tutorials
40 tutorials- including 10 new or revised topics.

ESCS wants you to learn more... with nearly 50 exhibits will be present to display the latest ESD products and services.  Exhibitors will also "Showcase" ESD technologies with 10 minute presentations during technical sessions.
This very special event combines frontier research with advanced tutorials, technical presentations, exhibits of ESD control products and services, workshops, authors' corners, Program Manager and Device/Design Certification, plus iNARTE Certification, giving a maximum value-add to the attendees.
